About Craswell Seeds

Craswell Seeds Ltd. Is a 4th generation family farm primarily focused on pedigreed seed production and handling. The farm is operated by Ray and his two sons Kevin and David. Ray started into Pedigreed seeds sales in 1986 and seed cleaning in 1987. A new seed cleaning facility was constructed in the winter of 2017/2018 to increase capacity and provide a better product to farmers who purchase our seed

Where We Are Located

Our farm yard is located 2 miles North and 1 Mile East of Strasbourg, SK. on the edge of the Last Mountain Hills. We farm land mainly around the Strasbourg area.

Our Services

• We offer pedigreed seed wheat, durum and lentils from Certified to Foundation.
• Our seed cleaner is setup to process cereals and pulses. For pulses, no augers are used in the cleaning process which minimizes the possibility of seed damage.

Family History

Kevin

Kevin has a BSc. In Mining Engineering from the University of Alberta. He spent 9 years working with Cameco at their uranium mines in Northern Saskatchewan. In 2016 he decided to move back to Strasbourg with his wife Melanie and work alongside his brother on the farm full time.

David

David has had a passion for farming since a very young age.  He obtained a degree in commerce with a major in management from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009, while working on the farm in the summer months. In the spring of 2010 he returned to Strasbourg to farm full time.
